How I did it: I never felt "good" about eating meat (although, I'm not sure most people do), I always thought it wasn't quite right.So, when I heard more about vegetarianism and talked with people pro-animal rights I became more aware of it. I think unawareness is the enemy - I saw the meat on my plate and it doesn't resemble the animal it was - I didn't do the "dirty work" myself - so I was distanced from the cold hard reality of it.I just began looki… Read how I did it…
How I did it: So,to do this I mainly kept myself busy – and simultaneously rewired my thoughts to see what really matters – by paying attention to news that matters, politics around the world, science news, anything that didn’t make me feel stupid. Read how I did it…
I don’t want to be all about doing things the easy way…nor the fun way. But the CORRECT way. Regardless of more enjoyable alternatives.
I want to work harder on all of my goals in general, especially mindfulness.
I still haven’t turned this into a complete habit yet(I’ve really only done it a few times). It probably won’t be leaving my to-do list anytime soon. But I’m going to try to think about it like I’m going to complete it of scratch it off my list tomorrow. :)
