when I was suffering from depression, this site helped me a lot.. it made me rethink and question my degrading views of myself.. and it made me feel a lot more positive too.. I’m not sure if other people would find it as useful as I did, but I thought I should share it anyway =) Good luck and hang in there~

Today, I had that tutorial presentation I talked about in the previous entry. It went ok. I really think I’m getting the hang of this. No more blushing nor flushing, no more quivering voice nor shakey hands, no more hesitation nor holding back. Yay, go me! =D
I started this goal doubting if it is possible to train oneself to be more confident. I started off thinking it would probably take a loooong time before someone like me would ever become confident enough to be myself in public situations and be comfortable enough when speaking publicly. I started off thinking, yeah sure other people have managed to overcome this issue of lack of esteem and confidence, but no way I would ever be one of them.
And yet hey, I did it! =) In my last semester too! At least now I can graduate at the end of this year feeling more confident about myself and being happy with myself the way I am=). Wouldn’t have been able to achieve this goal if not for words of advice and encouragement that I’ve received from everyone, so thank you. :hugs: Good luck for those who are striving to become more confident. If I can do it, so can anyone else in this whole wide world.
Yay its finally time to click the cursor on ‘I have done this’.

I had my tutorial presentation last week >__<
Surprisingly, it went ok =D.. I really put in a lot of effort into the research.. so I’m happy that everything turned out well =).. i didnt turn red either n ppl seemed to really find my presentation useful and they actually absorbed the information i presented, coz in the discussion part of it afterwards, some of them brought up the facts i argued.
=) im happy..
next week i have another tutorial presentation, for another subject.. in a sense, its good that these presentations aren’t that far apart, coz this is a good chance for me to keep on practising and get a momentum going..
at this point, i’d like to say thanks to all u guys who’ve been encouraging me and giving lots of helpful advice in the comments.. it feels good to know there are good people out there =)..
well, wish me all the best in my next presentation! =P i will try my hardest.. good luck to u guys who are striving to overcome this similar issue.. dont worry, we can do this =).
