I got my lovely Lola, a Siamese cross, from the local humane society. She was a year old, but she is so cute! Pretty good too. I’m once again a cat lady! Really, cats are so easy to look after & nice to have around. She’s a sweetheart too (unless she’s attacking my arm while I’m sleeping – the only real downside)

I got the scrapbook as a birthday gift… & throughout the year I’ve taken some time to sit down with my heaps of photos from China, Korea & Japan. It was time consumming… I do have some blank pages at the back… but I think I can consider this done! Very worth it – I now have a book with a collection of photos highlighting my year abroad. Great memory book, good to show to people to offer a glimpse of what I experienced in the Far East!
I’ve just got a great cookbook (I have many that I don’t use – love the pictures!). This one is very simple, so this one is something that I do use. (It’s got a picture of every recipe too!) So… I’ve added a new recipe to my repertoire. I also cut up veggies & stuff… just a bit better than the pasta & canned sauce. I still do basic cooking, but it is quite simple to cook… would like to take more advanced classes on cooking & learn more recipes!
