I had moved this far down my priority list, but since I’ve been bellydancing, it’s been moved up again. I started wanting to spin poi when I went to a solstice festival and saw these two bellydancers who incorporated fire poi into their dance. It was AWSOME in the true sense of the word.

I’ve been dancing several times a week… I’m trying to do every other day, now. Yesterday, I did this 10 minute workout thing because I couldn’t get up the energy to do a whole one… turns out the 10 minute tape I got kicked my ass anyway. (literally: it was “bellydance buns” and I’m sore today)

I’ve been putting this off forever because of work. I’m already pushing the envelope by having a tiny nose stud. I need enough time to let it heal before I put a retainer in. As soon as I have time, I’m determined to do it.

I used to do yoga, and I would also stretch every night, just because it felt good. I was like a rubber band when I was little… but now I’ve been ignoring my body a little bit lately, and I miss being so flexible. I should just start stretching every night again.

I had my hair chopped short 4 months ago. It’s starting to grow out some, and I need a trim to keep it looking neat. I’m scared that they’ll chop off everything that I’ve just spent all that time growing out, though.

I’m making this my top goal. I got some dance videos and I’m trying to do one at least once a week. But it’s so easy to just turn on some music and dance around my bedroom in the morning before I go to work. Even that counts. It’s liberating. It wakes up my muscles. It makes me feel beautiful and graceful, and NOBODY’S WATCHING!
Eventually I’d like to take another bellydance class, maybe learn some ballroom dancing, or do some exotic dancing for my partner. ;-)

God, how depressing. I’ve been paying between $300 and $700 a month for 6 months now, and my debt has gone down by $400. That’ll teach me to max out a card with high interest.

I actually have several I want to get. I’ve got a design in mind, it’s 6 individual tattoos in different places on my back (2 of which I already have), that will be integrated to form one design. One of them I would actually like to have branded on, rather than tattood, but I’d have to find someone I seriously trust to do that.

Just once, I did this… he didn’t react the way I would have liked, but I’m still glad I did it. And I’ll do it again, just for my own enjoyment.

I paid my card off a year and a half ago. Then I went through some rough times financially and now I’m deep in debt again… it’s amazing how fast the amount you owe grows.
So now I gotta do it all over again.

I’d like to go way up north some day, maybe live in Alaska for a while… but this isn’t actively one of my goals any more…

It’s always “as soon as…”
Well, I died it purple. Now I wanna do orange, like in Eternal Sunshine… but again, as soon as I quit my office job where I have to look respectable. So it’s gonna be a while.

Another someday… It would be fun, but it’s just not going to happen real soon.

After a year of paying almost $200 a month on my loans, I checked to see how much of the principal I had paid off… less than $400… ugh. And I gather I have a pretty good interest rate.

Soon I will be eating my own little tomatoes and peppers, and seasoning my food from my own herb garden.

Found a good exercise to strenghthen the midback. I don’t know if I can describe it well enough in words, but I’ll try:
Hold your arms out at your sides, bent, with elbows down and hands upward, so that your arms and body form a W shape. Bring your elbows in and down, towards your body, and bring your shoulderblades down and together. Relax and raise your arms to starting position. Repeat about 10 times daily.
When those muscles start to get stronger, you’ll automatically straighten your back.

Someday… but right now not something I’m actively striving for… but some day.

I used to get strep throat about 3 times a year… haven’t had it in a year and a half now!

I moved to a very hot, humid location right at the begining of summer, and instantly was craving water constantly. It’s amazing what a difference it makes when you have real motivation.

Still think this would be fun to do… but I’ve had it on my goals for over a year, and haven’t made a single move to do it; haven’t written anything, done any of the research, nothing. It’s time to let it go gracefully.
