How I did it: I started by purchasing little things like organic/natural cosmetics, such as Burt's Bees or Aveda. Drinking organic coffee was fairly easy being a Starbucks employee, where you have your choice of Shade Grown Mexico or Serena blend. (Although most Starbucks coffees are grown ethically and organically, we just don't require that our farmers pay for the USDA and/or Fair Trade certification.)
