How I did it: I finally decided I would lose weight this year. It was too difficult last year, being my freshman year, so I finally decided that I was ready. How I did it: Being persistent and enthusiastic about what I want to do has really helped me. I will be interviewing Sondre Lerche on the 22nd and Ezra, the lead singer of Vampire Weekend, in December. I am beyond ecstatic and am incredibly inspired to keep going on this kick. Read how I did it…

For about a week and a half now, I’ve been going to the gym and taking classes every day, and on Monday, I officially took my first yoga session! The first time was difficult, but it’s so relaxing that you immediately overlook the challenging part. The second time was a little more painful, but the better I get at breathing, the more soothing and unbelievably exhilarating it gets. Definitely try it.
