Orange

Today I went to Home Depot and bought two very energizing orange paint buckets.

I have no idea how the room will be decored.. but decided that Orange is the way to go with the creative spot.

Hope it fits right!

see stonehenge
But a bit dissapointing...

I was expecting something more impressive. From a far they just look like a bunch of rocks (not too big) alongside of a main road.

It helps if you know all the story behind it, helping put things in perspective and appreciate the sight more. It was definetely worth it.

Visit Key West, FL
Familiar

I liked it very much, actually it reminded me of Puerto Rico.

Way overdue...

Oh I have ignored this one for too long. I need to set up a plan.

It's done! I'm the proud owner of a 100M+ debt

...for the next 30 years!

Yesterday I signed off all the documents in just 3 1/2 hours.
Two laywers, one of them very nice, and read me the whole contract in a sweet voice. The other looked like he just passed the board and was ‘playing lawyer’ talking to me in a commanding tone. Ugh.

I still haven’t steped in, but can’t wait to start making it a home.

Cross this out… and add a couple of more next. Yay!

One week to go

After much debate and negotiating I am ready for ‘closing’. The date is next Monday. I would have liked to close the weekend after that, in order to pay less interests, but I would then get a risk of an increase in the loan rate.

I’m very exited!

Now it doesn't look good

After the bombings in Turkey and Egipt, my friend and travelling budy has decided not to go to the cruise covering Turkey, greece and Italy.

It is very dissapointing to me, and one of the reasons I like travelling alone in the first place. I understand about trying to avoid danger, but what will be will be.

So I’m thinking whether to travel by myself to Italy or hop along to Macchu Picchu.

Can't make it

I want to get up very early, at least at 5:30am to pray, meditate and write, but so far the earliest I’m waking is 7:00am, just enough to get to work on time.

I need to start already!!

Failed

Ok. I didn’t make the 21 day mark (to break the habit).

Somehow if I bite one off and then the rest is downhill.

I’ll try again.

One month to go

Last Wednesday I did the second inspection on the apartment.

Work was being done in the roof, but the kitchen cabinets were done and all the doors replaced. I’m very happy.

Yesterday I went window shopping . Already identified a great deal on a dinner table, and found The Bed (my first priority).

Also, I found a very good deal for the family room furniture. _

Today I had some progress

Ok. Today I didn’t wait to fall asleep again once the alarm went off. So I managed to get in early to work.

It feels good to be on time and without rush. Little by little.
I want to be able to pray and meditate during the morning and write my morning pages.

Progress Update

I got all the info on the Checkign and Savings account for 2004.
Last night I finish entering the data for the Amex account for 2004.

For last year I’m pending to reconcile the MC, VISA and bills for the Cell Phone, Water, and Electricity.

The accounts pendign are much more simple and easier to enter so I’m almost finishing up with 2004.

La parte mas dificil va a ser el cuadre. Ahora mismo no me cuadra ni un centavo.

Second Inspection Today

I saw my cute soon to be apartment today. I think it will fit me well. It has so many things I like.

Today I saw the model apartment with the terrace completed and was so exited to have a feeling for its potential.

After more than a year I have now the certainty that it will be ready by August.

So much money needs to be invested… I don’t know if I should sacrifice my travelling plans. I will start making a budget…

I’m very happy!

Take a Greyhound bus somewhere
PA to DC

I did this on my senior year of college. It was a long trip with lots of stops in between, even when the regular drive from Philly to DC is around four hours.

It was very tiresome but got to meet a couple of people.
I remember this lady that was taking her kids down to Disney World (from Philly!).

Did it (for weekend @ the beach)

Ok! I wore a skirt during the weekend and the feel was great. I felt feminine and it was perfect for the ocassion. I managed to ensamble a good combination that I’m definetely going to wear more often.

Now I need to arrange an outfit for work. I have an excuse to go shopping!
