I’m not the least bit afraid of doing this, and I fully expect to do it one day. My dad did it back in the day when it wasn’t tandem, I remember watching when I was about 3 years old. I wish I didn’t have to go tandem the first couple times, that takes some of the fear and some of the freedom out of it. I’ve heard it’s one of the most relaxing feelings in the world, and who doesn’t want to relax?

OK, I’m likely 15-20 years out on this one because I’m raising 2 young kids right now. I promised my brother 5 years ago to take him to do it when he graduated college. And here we are, and he’s still one semester’s worth of credits shy. He’s the only one I could think of that wouldn’t be afraid to do it, and now I’ll have to get back into decent shape before it comes time to do it. How hard can it be, just don’t get drunk first and stay near the front…
