Arrested but never Booked

I was arrested twice before my twelfth birthday. In Canada children under the age of twelve are not responsible for their crimes. The first time I went out Halloween night with a group of boys, we had about three dozen bear scares with us and we were throwing them down drains. The police didn’t like that, We ran too. We were relesed to one of our parents.
The second time was pretty simple. I was walking to my job at the SPCA. The easy way to get there was to walk along the highway, instead of crossing the street and walking the over pass about three blocks away. As I was walking a cop picked me up. I got a ride to work but not before a very long lecture on why hitchhiking is illegal.
