How I did it: i started reading lots of short books at a time, and after a while, i started reading really long series' in chronological order just for fun. now, when i go to the library, whenever i see an interesting-looking book, i check it out. i started reading pendragon, the edge chronicles, and inkheart this way. Read how I did it…
it’s really easy, just get into your stride and you’ll write really good stuff.
i wrote a short story once, for my friends who were moving away. it’s about a beaver. a really good way to do it is to slip in a lot of your thoughts like (i think joe was a very interesting pharmacological person!) whatever pharmacological means… anyway, just slip in some insane commentary here and there, it helpsyou write it. then afterwards, you can take the weird stuff out and get rid of mistakes, then you’re ready to print, publish, or E-mail your story.
