Well I already sing. Regularly, in public at folk clubs and sessions etc. I’m quite happy to stand up in a room full of people and sing unaccompanied. I reckon there must be quite a lot of techniques which would help me improve – breathing techniques etc. So this year I’ll take singing lessons. At least a few of them, to see if I can improve my breath control etc…

Done it!

Bought some equipment and made some basic soap – two batches done so far and it works beautifully. I’m using organic ingredients and have so far made lavender soap (with olive oil and coconut oil), and a patchouli & juniper berry blend. Excellent fun. Don’t think I’ll be buying any more soap in shops!

What a stress-free Christmas! No presents to buy, no panicking about what the buy for people, no trying to keep everyone happy and ending up pleasing no one! Will definitely do this again next year – I don’t know if I could go back to the old ‘traditional’ way of doing Christmas now.
