I am so thrilled to be back here and posting. A special hi to my buddies Mark, Russ and Gabob- thanks for your understanding.

I’ve had a whole bunch of challenges, but I forbade myself to drink many times. I slipped a bit on the weekends, but nothing to write home about. I can’t tell you guys how much I appreciate all of you. Let’s stay together, and as Russdog will say, “Let’s get this shit done.”

A special thanks to Mark, Josh, Sunny, Gabbob…

It is an understatement to say that this week has been difficult.
But with your help, I stayed away from 90% of the alcohol offered me. BLESS YOU ALL. Last night there were many people in my house- lots of food and drinks. I drank some wine and was glad I didn’t do the tequila shots because someone broke a glass and I had to clean it up really quickly. I feel bad about drinking anything, but I promised myself I would tell the board what is going on. This morning I found my brother-in-law in my kitchen pouring a vodka and orange juice. I said nothing about it and got some coffee and said, “Hey, we are leaving for church at 11:00- gotta hit the shower.” I ran out of that kitchen so fast Lance Armstrong could not have beaten me.

Now I have to deal with a family dinner (this is a day of mourning and fasting) but I know there will be at least some wine. Please help me not to drink today.
