My problem is, I don’t meet guys very easily…I work long hours and spend a lot of the time at the gym. I’m 26 and haven’t had a real relationship since high school… its depressing. I just haven’t gotten the courage to do the online dating thing and I don’t ever feel like the guys I meet in clubs are that genuine, most guys are just looking for an easy lay… sorry, but I’m not that girl. I’m looking for love… that all encompassing, butterflies in your stomach, goosebumps on your arms, weak in the knees – love. So, any ideas on where I should start looking?

How I did it: I told my mom and sister that all I wanted for my birthday was a massage at a spa. My sister got a recommendation from some co-workers who often visit spas. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I only had 2 weeks... I was in Sydney for NYE, then flew off to Melbourne for 5 days, went to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane and then heading down the Goldcoast back to Sydney. Definitely plan on going back one day... Read how I did it…
This is it… 2009 will be the year I get my own place! I even went out after Christmas and got myself a tree (fake obviously) for next year… lol. I know that’s a little premature but it was on sale! Gotta save my money for furniture, afterall! Best of all I think my parents are finally on board with me moving out… I’ve waited a long time for this, but I know now that the time is right :)
I successfully lost 80 pounds in 2007 but 2008 was a busy year for me and I stopped watching my diet… a few months ago I was only 20 pounds from my goal weight, now I’m 30 pounds away… It’s a lot harder now to lose the weight but I am determined to build my confidence and I know reaching my goal will be monumental! My weight has held me back my entire life, I’ve always envied those that were big yet happy. I was never happy, but I feel like 2009 is going to be my breakout year! Everyday is an opportunity to be healthy, just gotta remember to take it one day at a time…
