I’m not done with the whole fitness thing (not by a long shot) but I think it’s time to put this one to rest and create new, more specific goals. I hit my goal of getting to 220lbs. YAY. That means ~45 pounds in about 7 months. Next up: more endurance; lose my gut; hit my target weight; get better definition in muscles; improve my diet quality.
I couldn’t have done it without the help of friends and setting a goal for myself.

Putting this initial list together, I realized that the tough question really is: what constitutes my favorites? Hm…simple enough—movies that I can watch over and over and over again.
Last night I went to see my very first hockey game… Very very fun. The 3 beers didn’t hurt either! It would’ve been better if the home team (Sharks) actually won last night, if the crowd was louder, if the food/beer was cheaper and if there were more hard-core checking going on. :)
But it was definitely a great event—not as filthy and vulgar as those football games where drunken fratboys are ruining it for everyone around them. And the action was pretty good. I got to see a fight and a pile on near the end.
