New Idea... 17 months ago

As I don’t actually WANT a tattoo so maybe looking at the portifolos isn’t the best idea, and I went with a friend (so you could say I’ve done it, but hiding behind someone else while you do it doesn’t count, I don’t think :-)) and they sell belly bars…

Again, I don’t have my stomach pierced! but a couple of years ago I used to have a thing where I wore a red apple-shaped belly bar from Claire’s on my coat lapel…I loved it, but someone nicked it, obviously.

So, new one from there, or if anyone knows where I can get one of those Claire’s red apple belly bars…

Wear less comfort clothing. (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled 18 months ago

In the only thing I’ve done so far (dye my hair red), I mentioned that that has influenced other areas of my life…

Today I wore a Laura Ashley brodie anglaise (sp?) blouse with red converse and small earrings shaped like roses.

Not only did I not wear one of my lumpy comfort-blanket coats, I wore no coat at all (though I feel a statement like that said with this much pride should really be a touch more risque).

It made a difference to me because I don’t normally wear blouses, and a slightly more ‘elegant’ style at that: It made me feel a lot better.

dye my hair red.
+ A very short back and sides 18 months ago

I actually did this prior to joining 43 things, but it’s made a difference to me so I wanted to add it.

I had my current colour done at a salon, but for a good shade of red I would recommend Schwartzkopf no. 43. This shade is particularly radiant, seen in sunlight, from a distance :-)

I used to feel that I looked very drab – safe to say I don’t feel that way any more, I feel more confident and it’s influenced other areas of my life in the same way.
