I play guitar, sing and write songs. I’d love to form a band that takes the best of XTC, They Might Be Giants, Lawrence Welk (yes, really!), The Smiths, The Cars, and The Beatles (of course) and puts it all into a great musical group right here in River City (well, no, not River City – Des Moines, rather, but it’s still in Iowa). Anyone interested?

Songwriting 13 months ago

It’s great bringing a song together from start to finish. They’re all different – some come in a flash, others take months or even years to finish. It’s interesting to revisit them later, too, to see how they stand the test of time.

help people wake up and realize that God is a fairy tale for adults and that no one will answer their prayers, so they might as well stop putting their life in the hands of a fictive figure and start living their life without fear.
Not really giving up... 15 months ago

...but removing this one from my list. This battle has been ongoing for a few thousand years now, so I’m probably not going to be able to check this one off any time soon. I’ll still be working at it though!
