Very fun. I like to leave pennies
laying in places where others will
find them. You never know, someone may
need a penny. It might even brighten
an otherwise dull day.
Very cool!

I’ve wanted my own kiln since the 8th grade. Hubby
found one at an auction for $200.00 and I am floating
on a cloud!
Not much time to use it right now, but when I have time,
the kiln is waiting.
“EVENHEAT” brand. Model 5320LT. 240 VOLTS.
30 AMPS. 7200 WATTS. SINGLE PHASE.
Kiln panel suggests not firing to over Cone 8 (2300° F)
More information found! This model was manufactured
on April 18, 1980, making the kiln a 27 year oldie
but goodie.
My used kiln came with a durable stand.
On the stand, it is 35 1/2” tall.
Purchased in Inola, Oklahoma April 7, 2007 for $200.00.
Previous owner said she ‘got it’ five years ago, but unsure
how old it was at that time.
She stated she used the kiln to make glass beads.
Love it! Have melted wine bottles into wind chimes and
such, have no intention of using it for ceramics. Ha!

Hey, Nerakatem, good to have a partner in this
unique 43-thinger!
Always a fan of eccentric-minded folks, I have longed
to build a house of concrete and glass bottles.
Should you have interest, look up Tressa Prisbrey’s
Bottle Village in California. Though sadly, she has
left us, Tressa leaves behind a wonderful world created
from a fabulous mind the world needs more of. Someone
who can make something of nothing.
A bottle house is a structure built with concrete and
glass bottles. When the sun hits it just right, the
bottles glow in the sunlight as if they were stained glass.
Very cool! I’ve been saving bottles for years. I have
the passion, the materials and the desire. Now if I could
only find the time.
