Spend a couple of days, two at least. First day: south rim. Second day: hike some trails. If you want to raft, it’s a 3-week trip. There are no photographs anywhere that express the serenity and grandeur of the place. Period. Even Ansel Adams couldn’t do it. It must be experienced firsthand.
Car, that is. Bench seats are best. I had a 1976 AMC Pacer that was great for sex, as long as you didn’t rely on the car for privacy – way too much glass!
