learn to type without looking at my hands
Untitled

I had to take a Keyboarding class in sixth grade, six years ago. (...Wow, it really was six years ago! What a long time.) And at that point I was simply not very good at it. I was a very slow learner. But in the years since, I’ve started writing regularly, and with that practice my typing skill increased more and more. Moral of the story: practice, practice, practice!

write down my thoughts
Maybe it's just ego, but...

...I love to write down my thoughts and re-read them later. I find my own thought process both fascinating and hilarious. Like I said, this is probably just ego.
Carrying around a notebook has really helped me remember to record my thoughts. It’s also useful for reminders, random story ideas, random quotes, and random sketches! I definitely suggest doing this. :)

find a cause to support
Living too selfishly.

Senior year of high school starts Wednesday and I don’t have a single recorded hour of community service. Nope. Not one.
The reason for this is the same one that makes clothes shopping or college searching difficult for me: sure, a lot of things seem fascinating, but nothing calls out and latches onto me and says THIS MATTERS. I suppose it also makes a difference that I haven’t been firmly connected to a church since sixth, seventh, eighth grade? Eighth, I believe.

I read a quote once that said something along the lines of “a person cannot live a complete life without supporting a cause.” In that case I am not living a complete life.

My problem is that I don’t care about anything… at least, not more than any other thing. And I have no idea how to change that.
