There are many ways God speaks to us.
Through someone else, like a man of God, an enemy, a lover or a friend.
Sometimes thru that still, small voice in your ear when you are really quiet.
But the Bible is His very Word.
A book He has written so He can talk to us.
Not just left behind so we can read it after He died so we can know what He would have thought.
But very much alive and talkin to us, loving us, and waiting for us, His most precious child to have a conversation with Him.
Isnt that reason enough to read the entire Bible?

“I cannot rest from travel:
I will drink Life to the lees.
Yet all experience is an arch wherethro’
Gleams that untravell’d world, whose margin fades
For ever and for ever when I move.
How dull it is to pause, to make an end,
To rust unburnish’d, not to shine in use!
As tho’ to breathe were life.
Life piled on life
Were all too little, and of one to me
Little remains: but every hour is saved
From that eternal silence, something more,
A bringer of new things; and vile it were
For some three suns to store and hoard myself,
And this gray spirit yearning in desire
To follow knowledge, like a sinking star,
Beyond the utmost bound of human thought.”
Lord Alfred Tennyson has captured the heart of every hungry adventurer in these timeless words.
As s kid, one of my many ambitions was to be a photographer for Nat Geo. That way I can see the world and do what I love. Instead, I just grew up!
