I’ve gotten two great dogs from the pound and the shelter. One was an old man already. I only got to enjoy his company for a year and a half but I wouldn’t trade that time for anything. He was the dearest dog.

Whenever I get down to two, I think I’ll just stay there because it’s easier and cheaper to have two. But somehow a third one always comes along and nudges his/her way into the pack and there I am with three again!
