Went to a punk festival (Groezrock). Loved it!!! Great music and great sunshine:-)))
Went to Groezrock festival on Saturday, it was brilliant!!!
Saw Bad Religion, the Bouncing Souls, Story of the Year, Agnostic Front… + Great sunshine!!! Loved it:-)
now have to read about all the settings and stuff… and I’ll be ready to take great pics:-)
Got my new gaff last week… still not finished unpacking and planning to do lotsa painting and stuff, but it’s great to finally have my new place:-)
Signed a contract in a weird language I haven’t a clue about! Well that’s the only new thing I can think of:-)
Actually that was a rental agreement for my future apartment in Belgium, which was all in Dutch! (I got a native colleague to read it for me though, just in case:-) )
And maybe by the time the rental period is over, I’ll be able to read it by myself;-)
well I got layers cut and the bangs come down to my jaws now, so I think I can consider this done:-)
since for the next while I’ll be learning Dutch:-)
I’m flying over on Sunday, and even though I won’t get my permanent apartment just yet, I’ll still live in a way nicer place than my current one in the meantime:-)
I threw out a whole bunch of stuff already, and as I’ll be packing I’ll probably come across more stuff to get rid of… so as I haven’t been keeping count lately, I guess when I’ll be fully packed for the move I can mark this goal as done:-)
Going to a gig in support of Childline next week that has a good few bands I don’t know a whole lot about, but should be fun anyway:-) + never know, I might totally love some of them!
Giving up for now as I have many other things to do… Basically you only really enjoy it if you make progress, and you only make progress if you have time to practice!
So maybe some time later…
I’ll be moving countries soon, and I don’t want to bring a load of junk with me… I have to start sorting!
Valencia was great, but the “return to normality” was a bit hard!
From walking around in a T-shirt to shivering under a big coat, wooly hat, scarf and gloves, and scraping the ice off the car’s windows:-(
It’s kinda annoying squinting to see what’s available at the bar or what the band playing actually look like! (+ squinting is supposed to give you wrinkles!)
I should really give the contacts another try!
I need to ring/email landlords to make appointments for when I’ll be in Belgium… Boring, but needs to be done!!!
