Lose weight but don't make yourself miserable!! 4 months ago

Well I am slowly but surely doing this – Walking in 40 minutes to university helps :) I’ve also stopped worrying about it so much – yes i want to lose weight, but it’s not the be all and end all. I love food, I don’t want to cut it out of my life. So here’s to losing weight but not making yourself miserable!!! xx

Well I’m not too keen on being forcibly cultured – as I was this week, but at least it meant I visited another art gallery. I had to go and see Louise Bourgeois’s exhibition at the Tate Modern. I wasn’t too impressed if I’m honest, I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. Bizarre is one term to describe it, and because I didn’t like it (nor the crack running down the Turbine Hall) i felt quite ignorant. Because it was in the Tate it’s obviously been given the stamp of approval by the art world – for want of a better expression, so to not enjoy it, kind of made me feel like I wasn’t a very good art visitor. Oh well, suck it up. :D I dunno, t’was alright, but not worth the 8 quid we had to pay, and I preferred the Tate Britain!
