Do you know what? I am happy and I am extremely lucky!! My Mum was recently struck with a life threatening illness and it helped put things in perspective. I also have this strange feeling that something amazing will happen soon…and if not I will make it :-)

How I did it: I have been recording this on my phone the recently downloaded an application which allows me to do this. I think my last entry pretty much summed it up so I all I can do is work on these parts and accept other parts. No relationship is perfect but I love him and know he loves me so its worth working at!
But I am more happy and content and I am making time for me…now I just need him to see how bloody amazing I am and how he should spoil me and tell the world how fabulous I am…hmmmm…any ideas?
I stood up to a friend who have known nearly my whole life. Lately she has been snappy, moody, unreasonable, ungrateful and selfish for no valid reason. I put up with a lot of it and let things slide. I tired to subtly point it out a few times but that didn’t seem to work.
So today I wrote down exactly how i felt and what was wrong, I also explained I was doing it because she is my friend and I don’t want to fall out. It didn’t go down well and she tried to put the blame back on me. But I am tired of walking on egg shells and feeling guilty, so i can say I have done my bit and I tried but this seems to be it.
The thing is its not just me who has seen it but what more can I do to make someone see before its too late.
It was really difficult for me to pluck up the courage to do as I knew she wouldn’t be happy and I don’t want to lose her as a friend. But I am tired and its draining, so I did what I felt needed to be done.
Do I feel better for it? Yes and no, because I now can’t help but think we won’t be friends again and it is a real shame.
I now already feel as though I need to fill that void in my life and we have some of the same friends. On the other hand I didn’t deserve to be treated the way she was treating me so it had to be done.
I guess I can only see how things go but it was hard…
