How I did it: I'm a bit apprehensive about posting this goal, because there is always the possibility that I'll lapse and suddenly it won't be "I've done it!" any more. But I've built both lessons and practice into my daily and weekly routines now, so I doubt it'll change.I think that's the key really: routine. I practice before I shower (reasonable really), and decided to stop making excuses for why I couldn't go to lessons. Monday evenings, Saturday … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Pretty simple really.Call my friend Lizzie, ask if she wants to come; set a date, dig up £7 for the exhibition I wanted to see, and head out to London. What took the five months was plucking up the courage to call her. But I am SO glad I did, we had a really good time and the exhibits were beautiful. Read how I did it…
How I did it: After reading Oscar Wilde's page on Wikiquote, I thought "I must find out more about this man". It turned out that the local theatre company my aunt's a member of was putting on The Importance of Being Earnest in a week or so.I asked my mum if we could go, and before I knew it my parents, my brother, a couple of aunts and myself were piling into a car to go and see said play.It was absolutely hilarious. Very highly recommended. Like to se… Read how I did it…

I went to the Natural History Museum with her last week. I think she really enjoyed it, and halfway through randomly went on a ramble about how much she likes me (I, of course, rambled right back about her much I like HER). I think that’s a good sign.
We’ve discovered a few more interests that we share, and I might be seeing her this Sunday as well, and I’ll attempt to meet up with her the week or so after. Eventually I’d like to get to the stage of friendship with her when I can just call her up for no reason and that won’t be unusual; that goal seems much more realistic now.
