As people I think there is an innate sense of pride for your race or culture. This is what this goal is about. Being Ecuadorian I’ve always wanted to learn my ancestors dialect. I was born in Ecuador and raised in NYC, thankfully my parents were smart enough to raise me speaking both english and spanish in the house but much to my dismay I came to the states to young to remember much of anything of where I was born. Learning Quechua for me would be in a sense a way to be closer to where I’m from.

For a long time now I’ve wanted to become more proficient at web design. I do graphics and illustrations now and have some what of a concept about actionscript but its the equivalent of knowing how to say “wheres the bathroom?” in a foreign language.
I’ve bought books and read tutorials but I’m more of a hands on kinda person. If anyone has any information of how you learned or are learning or anything information at all that you can provide to aid me in this goal, believe me I would be ever so grateful!
