Although I still haven’t picked up any bushes to paint (still don’t have the materials), I have been drawing much more lately. My roots are with the pencil not the brush, however I’ve always loved painting. Next weekend is a long weekend for me. I believe that I will finally be able to make my way out to the ‘art store’ and pick up the much needed supplies that I desire. Again, I don’t want to paint just one picture and call this goal ‘complete’. I need it to become part of my life again.

I’ve pulled my Bass out of my closet and I’ve been doing as much as I can. And hour or two a day. I feel I’m making progress, however I wouldn’t say ‘I know how to play Bass Guitar’ yet. But. I’m well on my way.

Start Painting Again. This isn’t so much as: paint a picture and I’ve accomplished this goal. This is more along the lines of painting, painting, and become prolific with it. I’ve started so many projects in the past and simply stopped working on them and started somthing new. I want to be a dedicated artist. Live and breathe my art, not discard it to storage as incomplete. The desire is there to truly create something from start to finish. Right now, I still need to get me some paint (oil or acrylic?), some brushes, and some nice clean canvas. Not to mention shake off any rust that may have formed from my inactivity.
