you’d think someone who is half Italian could speak more than a few swear words and foods! Unfortunately, my Italian grandparents died before I was born and while my father could understand Italian, he never spoke it (other than cuss words).

The very nature of shyness makes it hard to overcome. But I have done it, and therefore know it’s possible for you to do it as well!
I got into drama in high school and loved to act. When I acted, I could be any character and take on their personality as well. I then had a thought one day, why not act BOLD! DARING! not shy! I began to do that, I began to fake a confidence I didn’t feel inside, once you do anything long enough…it becomes a reality. Eventually, my bravado was no longer an act. I had lost my shyness!
