I’ll be getting my first trainer poi set (been using glowsticks and shoe-string) later this year, then at the end of the year, when I turn 18, I’ll be getting a fire poi set. I’m excited, and can hardly wait. :3

How I did it: A while back, my chiropractor suggested I do some neck-muscle exercises to straighten up my posture. These are accomplished by standing straight with your back against the wall, and slowly tightening your neck muscles and bringing your head back against the wall. Always look straight forward when doing this, and only do 10-20 of them per session, and only 3 sessions a day at the most, else you'll have a severely sore neck. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I ordered myself a set off of homeofpoi.com last year, been practicing with them ever since then. I've burned twice now, though not in a while due to me living at an apartment with fire regulations now. Read how I did it…
A couple of months ago it snowed in McComb FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFETIME.
Okay, not entirely true, but the last time I was so young I couldn’t remember it. Woke up before the sun was even up to watch it, got to play in it, build snowmen, make snow angels, throw snowballs – we even just piled up a huge pile of snow just to jump in.
We got soaked, and it was freezing. Power was out for a few people, too – and our gas heater at home went out. So it was cold, but completely worth it.
It snowed again a week or two ago, actually – and it’s been quite warm, believe it or not. This week it was an average of about 70 degrees fahrenheit. The snow only stuck on cars when it did, but it was fun driving around it in, and dancing. You could hear it lightly touching all the leaves and trees around. Just amazing.
Wow, haven’t updated my 43things in a while. I went to the convention, it wasn’t that big, but it was quite fun. Was meaning to go again to the spring convention, but I think I just missed that. Fall convention I’m probably going to go to, and hopefully find some other conventions to start attending.
They are quite fun, if you can afford them. Lots of interesting people to meet.
