Making some progress...

I live in North America, and visited Europe in 2000. I just went to South America for the first time in Feburary for my Honeymoon (Argentina!) and am making plans to visit New Zealand in 2011.

My husband and I might make it over to Hong Kong at some point in the next few years. He’s been going to Taiwan for business, and I hope I can tag along one of these days.

get a maid
Do it!

Seriously, I only have my cleaner coming in once a month, but it makes such a difference. I’d have her in more often if I could afford it.

She takes care of all the every-so-often cores that I never get around to (like scrubbing the tub, vacuuming under furniture, doing the windows). It’s nice to know that I can just do a little bit of cleaning every week, and the more intensive stuff will be done for me.

If you’re thinking about doing this, I seriously recommend finding a locally-owned company. Independant maids or cleaners are often not insured, and if someone is good and responsible, he or she can build up a company fast. Mine has been in business for 20 years, and has four people working for her but still cleans herself. She’ll use only green products if you request it. She is amazing, I love coming home after she’s been here.

get married
Ring Shopping

So, Honey and I are ring shopping now. This goal is getting closer to being accomplished.

But the closer it gets, the more antsy I am. Not about the guy (he’s amazing, I love him so much), but about the event. Event planning isn’t my forte. I’m really tempted to just go to Vegas and get Elvis to officiate.
