wha happened? 3 years ago

Just can’t seem to stay in a wheelie. Somewhere between age 21 and now i lost that “im invincible” feeling. I can bring the front end up, but always bail on the wheel before it gets to the balance part.

It doesn’t help that my throttle is all messed up and not very smooth :)....but I don’t think that’s the real reason. Hoping to man up this summer.

Turbo my car
Good goal! 3 years ago

I am currently in the process of acquiring parts and odds and ends for a turbo project. I will be waiting until next spring to do it though. There will be no $3000+ premade kit for me, I want to do it all by hand.

Current plan is a GT28R at 7psi on a 420a eagle talon. Boost will be raised after that if I change the pistons/rods. Will probably bring it down to 8.5:1 as right now it’s over 10:1.

fix my car (read all 2 entries…)
Finally 3 years ago

So last week I finally finished the car.

The list:
new piston rings and rod bearings
head ported and polished
head cut 22 thou
new ferrea stainless valves
new timing belt, tensioner, tensioner pulley, idler pulley and water pump
all new gaskets of course.

Long job, but damn is it faster!
