So, I finally found a pack of American Spirits. I got the light mentholated ones. The pack is green with an American Indian head on it. They’re all natural tobacco cigarettes; additive-free. I kept boasting to my family that they were all natural and addiCtive-free, having mis-read the inscription. Finally, my cousin looked at it and corrected me. They’re very good cigarettes. They burn slower than commercial ones and they give me a very nice buzz. I came in from a smoke break feeling damn near drunk the other day at work. That’s what I call a good cigarette. Smoking is fun. I love working at the coffee shop and taking a break at night to go outside and smoke with customers or just by myself. It’s a short, reflective moment. I don’t think I’m passed the point of no return quite yet, but I don’t have plans to quit.

How I did it: I went to 3 gas stations one night and to Wal-Mart. No luck. A couple days later, I asked a girl I work with where to get them (I knew she used to smoke 'em). She told me of a particular gas station. I went their the next day, purchased them, and smoked one on my way home. Read how I did it…
On my way to a Yoga Instructor’s training in Baja, Mexico, I had a connecting flight out of Mexico City. Mexico City Airport was an absolute nightmare for a non-Spanish speaking panic-attack prone 23 year old novice flier. In the midst of my freak-out, I missed my flight and had to ask a couple (lovely, but made obviously nervous by my disposition) where I was supposed to go to book another flight and how to use the impossible mysterious out-to-get-me payphones. Knowing Spanish would have been very handy in this situation. I plan on visiting Mexico again as well as parts of Central and South America… and Spanish is too beautiful a language to not learn.
