How I did it: If you go online to CBS.com, you can find the place to request tickets to the show. It's pretty simple really, just fill out the request, give them a couple of dates that would work for you, and sit back and hope they call. When they call, they'll ask you a trivia question about the show. Get it right and then all you have to do is show up. It's a really cool experience. We got to see U2 and Jon St… Read how I did it…
How I did it: First, recognize that everyone can play a role in making a difference. Then, set your calendars to Earth Day (it'll roll around again), and make an effort to do without all your usual conveniences just for one hour. When the time rolls around, flip the flippin switches off for an hour, and use the time for something other than TV, like thinking what else you can do to make a difference! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Sent Cheryl an email message to let her know to have a Happy Birthday and let her also know how grateful we feel to have her here to share 43 things with! Here's to many, many, many more! Read how I did it…

From the biggest room to the smallest hotel!
SMALLEST HOTEL: Eh’häusl Hotel, Amberg, Germany
Measuring just a tad over eight feet wide, the Eh’häusl Hotel accommodates just one lucky couple at a time and easily wins the distinction of being the smallest hotel in the world. The name of the hotel translates as “the little marriage house” which harkens back to its original purpose. In 1728, local laws mandated that couples wanting to get married had to prove they owned a house. To get around this law, an Amberg resident built a small house between two existing houses, and sold it to couples for a low price before the wedding (they would sell it back after a day or two). Today, it’s a cozy and charming firehouse red mini-palace with a fireplace, a spa tub and hidden speakers providing music in every room. A uniquely romantic escape.
LARGEST HOTEL ROOM: Royal Residence at the Grand Hills Hotel & Spa, Broumana, Lebanon
Like a modern oasis in the Middle East, the Grand Hills Hotel & Spa, located just a 25-minute drive from Beirut, is spread out over almost 20 acres and includes a shopping mall, a spa, a gym, a nightclub and three swimming pools. Each of the 118 rooms and suites is unique, and, since the hotel is set at 2,500 feet above sea level in the Broumana Mountains, you can count on sweeping ocean-to-sky views. It may not come as a surprise that, amid all of this decadence lies the largest hotel room in the world: the Royal Residence—a total of 86,110 square feet spread out over 6 richly decorated floors with two swimming pools and a private sculpture garden. In case you get lost in this cavernous abode, the mansion comes with its own attentive staff, and is most definitely fit for a king.
