Saving the world one goat at a time.

Now that the LO is almost 6 months and will be crawling soon, I need to babyproof the condo. The problem is, we have lots of stuff. Stuff that I love and use on occasion, and like, and want to keep, so I don’t want to just “get rid of it” as some people in my family would suggest (mom and husband). It’s stuff that is important to me and I like it and spent good money on it.

Sooo, I’ve decided I’m going to pack it up, and put it in storage for the time being. Until we buy a house and I have the room to pull the “stuff” back out.

I agree the condo is cluttered, but it’s not JUST my stuff cluttering it up. DH has lots of “stuff” too, like big hiking backbacks, and tools, which lets face it, he doesn’t use that often, and military crap. It will be very nice to clear it out so we all have some wiggle room, especially Morgan.

1. Found a job on the company boards that I’m interested in. Problem is, I just took a new position so I have to get supervisor approval to apply for the new job. But, I spoke to her and I think she’s going to ok it. The problem is though, if I don’t get it, she may treat me differently if she thinks I’m looking for a way out of my job. Still though, the idea of a new job makes me smile silly!

2. It’s raining! I love the rain, but I wish I didn’t have to drive 20 miles on the freeway home. That 20 miles will probably take me at least an hour with the rain.

3. Fuzzy Pants – I’m not in them yet, but the thought of getting home and putting on some flannel PJs (with the rain falling outside) sounds awesome. Ohhh, and the fuzzy socks too. And then I get to snuggle on the couch with my little girl and hubby and watch a movie.

1. Got off work early, woo hoo!

2. Got to have lunch with an old friend that I haven’t seen in a long time. It was fun to catch up with her.

3. DH made dinner last night and it was good!

I know, kinda boring today, but sometimes the best things in life are the simple pleasures.
