i want to do this to better myself soooo much, but i just can’t find the motivation. I challenged myself to lose these 40 lbs by the end of the year, that only leaves me 112 days. I am going to have to quit my challenge because I don’t want to get depressed about it torwards the end of the year with all of the holiday food available. BUT. I am going to re-start and hopefully I will make some progress this time. I can only hope that I will stay this motivated. Now that school has started back up i think it will be a lot easier to excercise and junk walking to class and up stairs. on tuesdays and thursdays I have a 4 hour gap between classes so I am going to walk down the bike path on those days. WISH ME LUCK TOMORROW!!!! My goal for the end of the semester is to get from the uni to my house (about 6 miles) all at once. Tomorrow I am only starting out with a mile one way then the mile back, so hopefully i can do it!
I am trying to convince my mom to do the South Beach Diet with me. (it would be really helpful since she is paying for my food, clothes, schooling, sorority, everything right now and if i had someone who was doing the same thing as me then it would be a lot easier to stick to it. =]) I should see if my friend wants to do it too, then we can all have dinner together. that would be kinda fun.=] Anyway…. to my point.
What do you all think about the south beach diet? what kinds of things have you heard about it, anything negative? I am looking for a way to eat healthier and I think this is the right thing, but I want to make sure it is healthy and not harmful.
Advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

and i am not going to lose the weight i put on this summer before school starts, which really really sucks, considering i wanted to look amazing for school because of recruitment. =/
I am determined to loose 100 pounds, but to give myself a shorter term goal so i feel better about my progress i decided to set a goal of knocking off 40lbs before the new year!!! (yes it will be hard with halloween time, thanksgiving and christmas in these 5 months i have to accomplish my goal {8lbs a month… eeek!} )but i can do it!!! and if i don’t i will pay the consequences.
ewwie, i thought i had some good news, but i guess i don’t haha. i thought recruitment wasn’t until the end of september that way i would look better for recruitment but alas, no such luck! it starts on the 25th of August!!!
I walked around the university helping my boyfriend that is starting college look for his classes for like an hour and a half today so that was a good work out… i just can’t wait for school to start!!! If I swim 5 days a week at least for an hour each day and get in a 30 minute walk in the mornings or evenings (when its not so hot) on top of walking my fat ass all over campus all while watching my calorie and fat intake, drinking at least 9 bottles of water a day and making sure that i have numerous small meals to help boost my metabolism, I will be set!!! lol
Aaaahhhh i’m sooo happy it is almost school tiiime!!! I can prolly even get a few sisters to go to the gym wiff meeee! OMG and i desperatley need to get my moms Gazelle out of the shed cuz 30 mins to an hour on that thing is amazing and not even close to being as awful as running!!! Maybe i can use the Gazelle while watching a movie or sumtin. considering i never watch tv so i am always behind onthings, lol
kay i will stop rambling now. i need some sleep…..
