How I did it: It was an accident. I stopped to allow an officer to park, and he then backed his car into the parking spot on the other side of my car. Horrible, I watched it happen and could do nothing:-( … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I wrapped a sheet around myself with Ivy garland for a headband. Grabbed a strong walking staff and a few good friends. Carpooled and then walked for blocks, to take part in one of the world's largest toga parties. It was nifty, except the rain. It became a "wet toga contest" :-) … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I am becoming a dive master and instructor, and am early on in the program. This was my first night dive. The bioluminescence is well worth any apprehension one may have about being in the water at night. What a beautiful experience!  … Read how I did it…

Took a bus to Athens and then a Ferry to Rhodes.
I recommend taking a ferry, if you haven’t ever.
It was a good trip, stayed in a hostel for 15 euro a night.
Beautiful place:-)
I could spend months here, and still have more to discover.
Keep in mind, it IS a big city and therefor has big city problems. I didn’t get the impression it was a dirty place. I saw street sweepers and road washers working diligently to keep a metro center as clean as possible. Electric busses keeping the city air just a little cleaner, and scooters are EVERYWHERE. Hostels abound and there are some areas with absolutely fantastic graffitti! I am only sad that my time there was so short.
I definitely plan on spending a few months in this city!
