So I’m 19 and still don’t know how to drive. It’s been a long list of obstacles of why I can’t this time and that time.. and it just seems like it’s never gonna happen. My mom doesn’t want to teach me. I guess she’s paranoid I will crash her car.. she’d rather pay for lessons than teach me. So I called the driving place here in town.. and well, they told me it wasn’t to learn how to drive, it was to improve. And that I would need someone to teach me and practice with me in the meantime. Well, none of my friends are over 21 (the age you have to be to drive with someone with a permit). So.. yeah, it’s just never gonna happen. I should jsut face the facts.. =( /cry

I spent the best year of my life living as an exchange student in the Czech Republic. I love everything Czech.. so while I was there I did manage to pick up a bit of Czech.. well, enough to where people can understand me without complications. But I know my grammar is horrible! So I’ve been back from the Czech Republic for about 3 months now and I popped in a Czech film I had never seen before, “Pelíšky.” I really like the director of this film – Jan Hrebejk. Well, after about 30 minutes my head hurt so bad from the language transition.. and now I’m scared! I’m so afraid I’m going to forget my Czech and won’t be able to communicate with all my friends eventually. I wish there was someone who lived close to me who could help me practice. =/
