I enrolled for the Literary Magazine class at the college. I’ve been to all the classes so far, and I’ll even be going to an impromptu class tomorrow. So, yeah, I’m doing it!

How I did it: I opened the cabinet and saw the floss, and I thought "why not?"I remember when I was younger it just seemed to take a long time, but it isn't that bad. My gums bled the first day, but after that it got better. I think the floss I have now is different, it's the waxed kind. I don't like it much, but I still use it. It's not that bad to floss, I mean, if you think about it, they're gonna stay with you till you die (hopefully), so why not s… Read how I did it…
How I did it: When I found out I was pregnant, there was this ultimate calm that washed over me, perhaps from the universe or whatever. I knew that things would work out. I knew that we'd have a place to live, and food to eat. I just knew. After we had Olivia, things just settled. Into place, or wherever. It was neat. The flow just set itself really. Of course I worried a little the first time she got hurt, but I just can't worry about things like I use… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was working at an international hostel in San Francisco, California. I had decided that I was going to act more confident, and I met a wonderful man. In that confidence, I also began to speak my mind, and to admit when I don't understand something. Half of poor communication can be the lack of translation. Someone may mean one thing, and I will take it a different way. So I also began to point out (what I thought was) the complete obvio… Read how I did it…

I went to Peet’s the other day after school, rode my bike in the rain even. I asked the woman behind the counter if they were hiring, and she started asking me serious questions, like when i was available, could i work evenings, full-time or part-time, had i worked coffee before. it was awesome. so i filled out the app, returned it, and i’ve called a few times to check up on the process. i spoke with her (Janie, the assistant manager) today, reminded her who I was, and she said she was going to talk with her boss about it the next time they worked together. so, i’ll keep calling :)
i started my liver friendly diet, and i’ve cut out a lot of dairy. according to some doctor somewhere, a lot of people keep weight on due to dairy. there are a lot of people with dairy allergies, which makes the body react by piling on weight. so no more butter, no margarine either. i’ve been drinking soy milk in lieu of moo-milk. i’m more aware of what’s in food, on the labels, and what the products are, and why they’re bad (or good).
i wasn’t sure why the “partially hydrogenated” oils were so bad, but this book has some great information on these things. when the oils are recreated, it changes their chemical formations.. well, i’ve gotten off topic. i’m eating way better. so that’s good.
