1.) I suppose the people I’m renting from have come around regarding the shower issues. They keep the temp very low. I keep turning it up because I like to enjoy my shower. I used very graphic imagery today “Listen, last night the water was so cold my nipples could cut glass, okay?” =P Sorry to subject you all to that, but the point of the story is that my shower was wonderfully warm tonight.
2.) Group is over tonight.
3.) We got our contract and I transfer to another office at least some of the time on Jan 1, if not earlier to get set up.
4.) My car is fantastic. It is doing so well. I’m very glad I chose that one.
5.) I get paid tomorrow!

1.) Someone chatted with me online for a bit today. I wasn’t totally secluded like I thought I would be.
2.) I found a neat online video- I like finding videos that have some sense of originality.
3.) I am glad that I have a desire to be an artist of sorts and involved. Now, the ambition and action is something I need to work on. I’m not sure how to go about finding the niche and making a name.
4.) Internet access, 24/7. It didn’t used to be that way. At the age of 16, I could barely type because I so rarely used computers. After playing on MUDs and various online games, as well as typing out a thesis or two, I’m pretty confident in my typing skills.
5.) Original art.

1.) I am grateful for movies that make me just laugh out loud and have great rerun potential. I had to buy it! Very few films do that for me!
2.) One of the people I’m renting from hooked up the digital TV I couldn’t figure out. While I’m glad I now have access to news and weather channels instead of having to rely on the internet, but I can feel myself getting sucked back into zombie mode (it’s been 20 minutes…). I am glad I have background. It fills the room and makes it seem more lively.
3.) Jason Segel is so funny and I think he’s lovely. I’m trying to avoid becoming fangirlish, but it isn’t working today ;)
4.) I found some spices in one of my bags that I hadn’t cleaned out from the move. They are hard to find around here, so I’m glad I have them back =)
5.) I realized again today exactly how on top of my thought processes I really have to be. I also realized that it is a little more tough to be pulled into depressive mode, as if recent happiness, security, and confidence is a buffer against it. That is fantastic, truly.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekends thoroughly!

1.) I went to work today (on a Friday!) but it didn’t feel like work, so it was acceptable ;)
2.) I’m finally seeing the old zombie movies it seems like everyone else in the world has seen. I was going to go buy them, but found them on streaming video online instead ;)
3.) I’m doing a thorough cleaning. The people I’m renting from have a strained relationship right now for whatever reason, and I am in a mental space where I feel as though it would be beneficial to be as minimalist as possible. Tossing out even more stuff and washing everything that can be washed. It’s therapeutic for me (today, anyway. Any other day you’d have to hold a gun to my head to get me to clean like this!).
4.) I actually went for a walk by myself around here. I’m happy I did it, because it really put things in perspective. Even though where I am staying now feels more secluded and calm, it really isn’t. Walking around here is difficult because of the traffic. It’s like a mirage- you think you are somewhere magnificent, when it’s really just the same old city. It is motivating more to get moving, so to speak ;) I don’t like the idea of having to drive someplace just to take a walk.
5.) Invisible fences. Otherwise I probably would have been torn to shreds by 2 very big dogs. =P

1.) Great group process this evening!
2.) I found more wonderful quotes online for the other goal I have regarding quotes =)
3.) I received a compliment from a model I haven’t even worked with yet regarding my photography. It helps to have that feedback, since I haven’t done much lately aside from take photos of people fencing at the local renfaire.
4.) I took the initiative and contact someone else about photography after they had placed an ad requested assistance with their project.
5.) A co-worker brought a book for me to read- I hope it’s as interesting as everyone has made it out to be!

3.) I learned more about possible educational goal.
4.) A friend from work is going to let me borrow a few books. Always good news.
5.) It’s good to know that my efforts are appreciated- and people are, in their own ways, showing it.
edit I hate having to do this, but I need to replace number 5. I was seeing false things, for wanting to see them, rather than them being actual truth.
Let me try again.
5.) I’ve been recycling consistently.

1.) I feel much better today.
2.) I’ve identified another path my future may take. I’m open to opportunities, and will figure out the “hows” as I go along. It’s exciting.
3.) I have this sense of peace today, finally. It’s good. It’s great.
4.) My visualizations are much more powerful and inspiring/inspired. I get tactile sensations now!
5.) Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Creates an interesting ambiance in the room when no one else is around ;)

1.) I didn’t have to leave the house today.
2.) I am grateful when you need a vacation, and you can watch a film and become complete immersed in events of the film, as if you were there.
3.) I still feel the drive to continue to do positive things for other people, even though I haven’t gotten a response. It keeps me going.
4.) I’ve decided to be more proactive in my weight loss. I had lost 30 lbs quickly, and then slacked off for several months. I’ve only gained 4 lbs back in about 5 months. Still… Time to get back on track.
5.) Orange juice.

It is time to give myself credit.
I give to charity organizations. I’ve volunteered. I do strength-based work.
I am a counselor working within a difficult area.
I’ve been told by people I’ve worked with over the years that I have made a difference in their lives and others. I think I’m going to trust that I’ll continue doing this, as charity and assistance is what I enjoy doing.
