yay, the sun’s shining! my OU story was set at a Christmas carol service, and part of me now thinks it’s that time of year already. was awake thinking about it in the middle of the night. strange.
tonight am invited to a 100th party tonight (two 50s?) by someone i hardly know. the only other person i know who was going has canceled. gah, i wish i’d declined from the start. i have to bring something for the buffet as well. how can i still be so clueless about that kind of thing at my ripe old age?
a propos, someone at the conference thought i was 27. that must be a record, even for me. (they always say: “blah blah blah, you’re young, blah blah blah” and then i always say, “well, no i’m not as young as you probably think” and then i make them guess. because i’m so grown up.)
right.
