Start off easy

I’ll start with just one song – to play on my guitar, from memory, perfect every time, with lyrics half-decently sung.
I’m thinking “Whole Wide World” by Wreckless Eric is a good place to start, it’s super easy and “Stranger Than Fiction” scene was <3

Immigrant ftw!

Next year, I’m going to have to figure this out, with credit history, etc. all needing to be transferred over to the US.
It sounds redundant but I know it’s going to be something of a hassle, so I’m psyching myself up for it already.

I need to build muscle mass, I’m unhealthily underweight. Ya ya, I know – most people need to lose weight, but it’s as hard for me to gain it as it is for most people to lose it.
My strategy will be two-fold: diet and exercise. I’m going to try eating more, but moreover having more protein in my diet. Combine this with exercise, specifically weight-training exercise that should build muscles, and hopefully I’ll see positive results over the next few months.

It’s probably not healthy to have “goals” related to your own death :P

My new job has been pretty sweet so far, and I truly believe it’s only going to get better as time goes on.

It was a lot of shoveling snow to make one, but it was pretty cool to go winter camping without a tent.
A good set of instructions can be found here:

I was going to take a fencing course at UofC but now I doubt I will. Oh well, fencing still seems cool. Maybe one day I will revive this goal.

Sad day, cancelled my account. So long WoW, it was fun while it lasted (not long).

It was probably pretty stupid, but it was definitely worth doing. Spent one whole night at home working, one whole night at work working, and one whole night travelling via air.
And ya, at the end, I was really quite tired and my sleep pattern was screwed up for a few days.

Once you get past the initial desire to sleep, it’s pretty easy to convince your body that you just aren’t going to rest. Stay busy and keep your mind focused on doing stuff or spend the time with other people.

Did it in 5 days, south to north. The weather was perfect (no rain) and the terrain was ruggedly amazing. It’s a pretty tough haul, with all the slopes, roots, sand slogging, ropes, ladders, etc. but it was totally worth doing. Great sense of accomplishment when you finish.

Current personal best is 42 hrs. Some day (soon?) I’ll do 48.

It wasn’t “worth it” but I’d do it again anyway.

I’ll just dream about it instead.

Too impossible to be practical. Music is great, but it’s not everything. Sometimes you actually have to talk or something. And sometimes, nothing speaks louder than silence.

I’ll just sing like me instead.
