I really want to get a Maori tattoo, but I don’t know of anyone in the states that can do it.

Oh so worth doing! I don’t regret it at all. Well when I was in New Zealand and jumped from 15,000 feet I forgot to equalize on the way down and I ruptured my ear drums. I went deaf for a week and a half, but it was so worth it. I actually still have problems with my ears so if you do it don’t forget to equalize! You haven’t lived until you have gone skydiving, although I prefer bunjy jumping.
I have bungy jumped three times. All three in New Zealand and I did do the Nevis which is the highest jump in the world. The Nevis is over 40 stories and is an 8.3 second free fall. I can’t even explain what a rush it is. I was terrified at first, because it’s not like skydiving where they roll you out of the plane. When you bunjy you have to jump yourself. No one is going to do it for you. You have to walk yourself out on to the ledge and stand staring at the horizon and wait for them to count down to one and then they tell you to jump. You have to just do it, you can’t think about it or you will back out. I felt so free and relaxed and when I go back up I had a huge grin on my face and the guys who were working there laughed and ‘knew I was crazy like them’. When I go back to New Zealand going to Queenstown is a must.
