1)Watching an anime series all in one day. I watched Gravitation all in one day yesterday. It’s a long weekend, I didn’t have plans, and I wanted to just relax. And that’s exactly what I did. It was very nice :)
2)Seeing friends before they return to college. It was just nice to see them before they go back and the only way to talk to them is facebook or a letter.
3)McDonald’s buffalo sauce. No other fast food buffalo sauce really compares. I really can’t get enough of it. I love when they give me more than one so I can save the extras or home!

Happy goodbyes. So, two of my friends came to see me last night because they are going away to college tomorrow (as sophomores). Though I will miss them, we didn’t have sappy goodbyes, which I prefer. We know we will see eachother again so, I like the casual “See ya later” type of goodbye. It makes the seperation bearable, IMO.

Getting a response from my penpal! I met a penpal on this site and wrote her a letter. I just got her response letter today! I was very excited to get it and excited to write back right away! I love getting mail and I love penpals! :)

1)Patrick. My very good friend and somewhat lover Patrick came over today. Though my feeling are not (and may never be) returned, after 6 years and being denied twice, I still love him very much. I don’t force myself upon him…spending time with him is enough for me. I just hope he realizes that I still love him and I’ll always be waiting for him, as pathetic as that sounds.
2)Tokyo Godfathers. I love that movie so much. Pat had never seen it so, we decided to watch it. I can watch it a million times and not tire of it.
3)Watching a movie with my mom. My mom rarely requests to watch a movie with me. But, tonight she asked if I wanted to watch Shutter Island with her. Even though I paid more attention than her, it was still nice to sit and watch a movie followed by a discussion afterwards.
Overall, I had a nice night and a relaxing day :)

Buffalo Chicken Pizza. It is truly a godly food. My company today brought over some for dinner. I haven’t had it in a while so it was especially good. I was very happy to spend time with my friend and eat such good food!

I haven’t gotten much better at this…Though, now that school has begun, I will now be able to save a lot of money that I would be spending on food. So, hoepfully, that will help. I think it will. I have been making sure that I have spare money before I buy things I want but, I have not made any great progress in saving…

My room has returned to the state it loves to be in…messy. I am in the process of cleaning it up for company tomorrow. I hope that it stays clean after this! What is wrong with me that I can’t keep one room in good condition?

A/C on the shuttle bus! For the past week there has been no A/C on the shuttle bus and it was BLAZING in there. I have been miserabley sweaty and uncomfortable taking the shuttle bus and expected the same today. But, I stepped on and it was ice cold!! I was so surprised and CERTAINLY happy that this was the case. It was a very nice and well-needed change!

1)Physic lab #1. I think I did really well on this. Today was out first lab and I was really nervous for it. But, it was just practicing the formulas and applying them to make graphs and solve a problem. I think I did well and I’m confident in my work. I think I will get a good grade. Physics, so far so good!
2)Looooong naps. Today, I got home and took a 5 hour nap!!!!!!! That never happens! But, I guess I was making up for the missed sleep this week. It was exactly what I needed. It got rid of my headache and gave me lots of energy! Unfortunately, now I will be up all night…
3)Soupy mac ‘n’ cheese. I like it when my mac ‘n’ cheese is kind of watery. My mom had some left over mnc and let me have it for dinner. Nice and watery, just how I like it :)

Lending. I normally hate borrowing and lending things because I am bad at returning things and the things I lend are seldom returned to me. But, I needed a pencil today for my physics lab and someone was nice enough to lend me one. It is just a small detail in my day but, it made me happy that someone entrusted me with one of their things and I successfully returned it to them. HAHAHA!

Breaking the ice. For my intro to education class, we have to talk a lot to our fellow classmates. So, we did some breaking the ice games to get us talking and familiar with eachother. I wish all classes did this.

1)Pigs in blankets. I had a long day yesterday and, when I got home, my mom had made me a bunch of pigs in blankets since she know I wouldn’t have the chance to eat all day. They were very good! I love them a lot! One of my favourite foods :)
2)Doing my homework. Though it is mundane, I do enjoy doing it and getting it done. You know…that sense of accomplishment once you’ve finished something…something like that!
3)Reading for hours on end. In the middle of my day, I have a big chunk of time in which I can’t do anything with so, I go to the library to read. I read The Book of Five Rings in one sitting waiting for my next class. I enjoyed myself doing it and look forward to finishing more books! I had the same “problem” last semester and had a lot of time to read. I like it.

Intro to Education Class. What can I say? This class was so much fun and it was only the first day. I love the teacher, I love the people in the class, and I think, based on what the teacher has presented thus far, that teaching is really going to be good for me! I can’t wait to start my classroom observation and get the ball rolling on becoming a teacher! :3

My physics teacher. I was really dreading physics at first but, when I met the teacher, it doesn’t seem so bad now. He is very friendly and wants to help us understand in any way possible (he even wrote another version of the text book online with permission from the author). So far, I understand what is going on in class. He gives good examples and, if you don’t get it, he’ll repeat it a thousand different ways until you do. He’s a really great guy and a great teacher and he makes physics seem not so scary!

1)My friends being nice to eachother. Two of my friends wanted to hang out with me on the same night and we ended up all hanging out together. I was very surprised that they started talking and weren’t fighting or anything. They use to fight quite a bit, so much so that the police had to get involved. But, I was happy to see that they have both matured a little and have gotten past that.
2)My Spanish teacher. He is great and, although we aren’t really learning grammar, just how to say stuff, I feel like I’m kinding of learning already. He is a very friendly guy and very motivated to help us learn the language.
3)Staples Copy Center. I went to Staples with my friend and she works there in the copy center. I needed a notebook for school but, since it is like their Christmas right now, I didn’t want to wait in the outrageous lines. So, my friend got her friend to ring me out at the copy center since no one was there. It was so great to surpass all those people!

Getting out on time to catch the bus. If I miss the bus, then I have to stick around school for another hour until I can take the next one. Thankfully, all my classes have been letting up just in time for me to catch the earlier bus :)

Though I am still no where near fluent, I have adopted some interesting ways to study Japanese on a daily basis. My little sister has become very interested in learning some words (we do picture games and write on the chalk board, stuff like that). We’re doing a “sticker system” where, every time we learn something new, she gets a sticker on her sticker sheet. When she fills the page, I’ll bring her to the store and let her pick a candy and a new toy. I thought this was a great idea for the both of us! I get to review vocab and the small stuff and she gets to learn a new language. So, I am enjoying doing this with her. It is so cute to hear her say the words!!
Another way (and this is weird) is, I started Spanish and, in class, while we’re going through how to say what, I think in my head how I would say it in Japanese. Or, if we’re going over vocab, I will see if I know any of the words we’re learning in Japanese. Since it is a basic course, I find that I know how to say the words and phrases in both languages now. So, I am very happy that I found this way to review and study!
Anyways, I just feel like I’m making some good steps forward and thought I would share with everyone!

Funny people in town. My friend and I have taken up the hobby of people watching and it is SO hilarious. If only people knew how funny they look and act in public, expecially the biddies!! Of course, it is all in good fun. I know I looke crazy in public to but, we all have to laugh at ourselves…and each other!

1)Interesting and nice people in American Literature. It seems to be a good group of people in that class. On the very first day, we had to get into groups and discuss a poem. The people in my group were very friendly. I look forward to this class!
2)Math class. I thought the math I took was another algebra but it is SO NOT!!! AND I AM SO EXCITED! I’m so sick of algebra! It is like real life math! FINALLY!!!!!!! STUFF THAT CAN APPLY TO LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3)Interesting nights. Last night I hung out with my friend, Kim, and we did some interesting things XD It’s hard to find things to do in the town I live in. So, we watched people come out of the movies and laughed out asses off, we watched people at walmart, we ate dinner in the car, and we took a Sea Lion figurine to stop and shop and had a photo shoot. Sounds boring, but it was hilariously fun!

Getting my books. After waiting 2 hours in the most hectic line at the school bookstore, I am just so glad that I got my books! I’m a fairly patient person and I had the time to spare to wait but some people…MY GOSH!! I understand a 2 hours wait is a little much and the store was in mass chaos but, it embarasses me a little when people overreact. But, I didn’t care. I kept to myself, made it through the wait, and successfully got my books! YAY!
