If I had the spare cash, I would probably spend it on a dj starter kit with 2 direct-drive turntables, headphones, a mixer, and 2 needle cartridges. I’d then have to buy some slipmats and a few good records. I think I could learn fairly quickly if I had the equipment.

Well, first I should probably find a good semi-definitive list of what I need to read to become well read.
For now, I’ve started Sophie’s World at the bequest of an old friend. It’s a philosophical novel that should open my mind up a bit.
