I didn’t realize how much intentionality this would require. I thought that I would naturally find opportunities to take pictures, but what I find is that I’m lying in bed at night thinking, “Damn, I should have taken a picture of that!” I’m keeping this goal because it’s going to force me to rethink how I think about my day, my world, and that’s never a bad thing.

I’m really not doing well with this at all. It’s been a bad week for me—I have fibromyalgia and my energy level is really low making it doubly hard to get out of bed. But I know that when I get going I feel that much better. Still, my husband asked me how I was feeling when the alarm went off this morning and all I could do was croak out, “It’s too early to tell.” There’s always tomorrow.
