So the real reason I wanted to check out Bronson Canyon was to see the Batman “Bat Caves” used for the 60s television show as well as a few other movies. Wasn’t much of a hike to get to them, and it turns out there were was a crew filming there the day I visited. Should have expected that, it is the only “cave” in Hollywood.
So after being turned away from visiting the caves, my sister and I ended up following a different trail. It was a decent hike, we were rewarded with an amazing few of Los Angeles and we could see a side view of the Hollywood sign. Didn’t make it all the way because the sister got tired and started complaining, I think, apparently the trail ends in front of the Hollywood sign. Overall though, it was nice way to spend a beautiful day. Now I’m motivated for more hikes.

I love food. The smell of almost any kind of food(except for maybe Durian) always gets me excited. The anticipation of getting to eat food and the way the tastes play with my palette is always an enjoyable experience. Actually being able to cook my own meals and taste them afterwards seems like it would add even more to joy of food. My cooking schools have been fairly limited to breakfast foods, but I have a cooked myself a few dinners before. I’ve added this goal so I can teach myself a couple recipes that could be useful later.
A few nights ago I cooked up Chicken Fettucini Alfredo. It turned out to be a delicious dinner. The only thing it was missing was some mushrooms, but I was still of proud of it.

The light pollution from the city lights block out most of the stars in the sky, but if you’ve ever found your way at top of a skyscraper, look down from a plane, or find a quiet spot on a mountain in the distance, it looks as though all the stars fell down and are continuing to shine while on the earth itself. Late at night, when the streets are quiet, and I’m the only of on the road, the city lights still manage to mesmerize me.
