I’ve gone out stargazing a few times and now have a pretty good idea of Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Cassiopeia, Cepheus, perseus, andromeda and Draco :) loving it but really need to start learning some of the mythology.
Also, have found a program called Stellaria (there’s a link at the bottom of the wikipedia constellations page) which has helped hugely. You plug in where you are, how high you are and the time/date and it shows you how the sky should look!

Well, I’ve commited myself to making a friend a scarf for their birthday. I’ve told them it will be fluffy. I have since discovered how UTTERLY EVIL fluffy wool is for casting on and counting stitches. having said that I’ve got two ends done and have got started on the main bit. It’s not going to be hugely wide but it WILL be fluffy. And hopefully it will have some kind of writing on it if I get colour patterns figured out in time.
Damn this infernal fluffy wool!!
