i went to yokosuka, japan, but it’s only because i’m in a military family. at first, all i can think about is how being in a new country sucked and how badly i wanted to go back to the states. but over time, i started to love japan. when i was told that we were being stationed back to the U.S., i didn’t want to leave. i regret spending over a year staying in my tatami floored room doing nothing while i could have climbed mt. fuji, or tasted all the japanese quisine that stared right at me in the face. so to all the people that go to japan, especially to military people: soak it all up. you’ll learn to love it. do everything you can to make ur stay enjoyable as possible before your time there is up.

i want more friends. my current friends right now are great, we have a lot of fun together and we laugh our ass off all the time. but i would like even more friends, just so i can say “hey, i know that person.”
i’ve decided. i think i will work at target. my friend that works there said a lot of ppl are quitting, so i have a good chance of being hired. when i think about it, it seems easy. i know a few people there, they have a cash register! (my last job we had to do the money math in our heads), and the pay is good. yes…that is where i will work.
