Man… practically every word in this book spoke deeply to me. it’s a memoir from an ex-model who did runways for armani & other top names. she speaks candidly about the behind-the-scenes life regarding eating disorders, drugs, men, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, pressure to look perfect, etc. She writes about how she find true healing & true freedom in only Jesus, not from this empty world. Awesome book. I’d definitely recommend for every girl/woman out there. Actually, for the men too if they want to understand the core of us women.

How I did it: I added things to my room one by one. First a colorful, vibrant bed set. I'm 21 so i dont have a whopping bank account but i do have a creative mind. So i made lots of inspiring bubble magnets, posted quotes & pretty words in front of my desk, got a tv in my room (w/o watching mindlessly forever), put up cards from dear friends, got a scrapbookshelf, and there u have it! awesome for recovery. I’ve traveled the world twice over,
Met the famous; saints and sinners,
Poets and artists, kings and queens,
Old stars and hopeful beginners,
I’ve been where no-one’s been before,
Learned secrets from writers and cooks
All with one library ticket
To the wonderful world of books.

To read without reflecting is like eating without digesting.
To read is to empower
To empower is to write
To write is to influence
To Influence is to change
To change is to live.
