play drums
12 years behind the kit 3 years ago

I’ve been playing drums for 12 years.
I play in a Seattle band called Juhu Beach (www.juhubeach.net).

Let me know if you want any tips. I was self-taught and took lessons after 4 years. My teachers helped me become a much better drummer artistically and technically.

write a short film
Shorty Shorts 3 years ago

I just finished writing two short films.
They are tough because you have to really hit the plot points quickly with little exposition. I highly suggest that every screenwriter try to write different length pieces (in pages), including 4-5, 10-15, 20, and feature-length (90-100).

buy a Mac
MacBook!!! 3 years ago

I just switched from using PCs to using Macs.

I bought this killer 2GHz, 1GB RAM, 80GB Hard Drive MacBook.
I did extensive research and even returned a Dell I had ordered, just to get the computer that I really wanted.

Reasons to switch to Macs:
They’re more fun to use.
Can run Windows and Mac OS X
Built in iSight camera
Includes great programs for mulitmedia without purchasing anything.
Easy plug and play.
Easier to get online via wireless networks.
More customizable usability (dashboaord/dock)

Still waiting for more companies to release their software as Universal Binaries to accomodate the Intel chips. But the original programs work.
